Pneumatic valves are often tucked away—out of sight, out of mind. But unchecked air leaks can derail entire production lines. That’s why during maintenance, I install Sealing Washers under each valve mounting bolt, especially if it’s handling compressed air or vacuum. The rubber liner compensates for surface irregularities, creating a breath-tight seal I’ve relied on time and time again.
Caution is crucial: using Nitrile washers in a steam line can cause failure. Instead, I work with washer suppliers to match material spec, ensuring high-temperature EPDM or Viton washers are used in steam or hot water systems. The wrong Sealing Washers degrades fast—leading to leaks, sludge, and safety issues. With proper material selection, you get lasting reliability.
