A car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station on Monday resulted in at least eight fatalities and 24 injuries. The explosion, which also caused a fire damaging nearby vehicles, has prompted a high alert in the capital and across Uttar Pradesh. The cause of the blast remains under investigation.
