Ministry of external affairs has sharply criticized New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’ letter to jailed activist Umar Khalid. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that personal prejudices are unbecoming of public officials and urged respect for judicial independence.
