A distressed landless farmer from Latur, who was forced to yoke his wife to a plough after losing a bull, received a replacement animal that was found unfit for work. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has now directed officials to take the farmer to a cattle market to personally select a healthy bull, following criticism of the initial replacement.
