Donald Trump announced a 25% tariff on imports from India, effective August 1, 2025. This raises concerns about potential iPhone price increases in the US. However, current exemptions protect Apple’s iPhone exports from India. The US has exempted smartphones from reciprocal tariffs. Made-in-India iPhones are safe for now, but this could change. Future tariffs could make these iPhones pricier.
