India’s first bullet train project between Mumbai and Ahmedabad is progressing well. Initial operations will commence using Indian high-speed trains in 2027. Japan’s next-generation E10 Shinkansen trains will be introduced later, after 2030. The first operational stretch will connect Surat and Bilimora in Gujarat. This initiative significantly reduces travel time between the two major cities.
