Photos have emerged showing lit sparklers attached to bottles inside a packed nightclub in the Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana at the moment a deadly fire broke out during New Year’s Eve celebrations. The blaze at Le Constellation killed at least 40 people and injured more than 100, with videos showing panic as exits were blocked by the spreading fire.
