Two suspected ISI-backed module members were injured in a police encounter in Ludhiana after allegedly opening fire. Acting on intelligence, police intercepted the duo who were tasked by a Pakistan-based handler to exchange grenades. Recoveries included grenades, pistols, and ammunition.
