A 30-year-old man, Vishnu Yadav, was brutally murdered by his in-laws in Lucknow. His wife was held captive while her father, mother, and sisters attacked Vishnu with wooden planks and an iron rod. The family harbored a grudge over the marriage that occurred four years ago. Police have arrested six family members and recovered the murder weapons.
