A bulk order should not be approved until the body fusing cloth has been tested under real factory conditions. Press settings, outer fabric and garment design can all affect the final result. A material that performs well in one production environment may require different conditions elsewhere.
When testing fusible interlining, check adhesion across the entire fused area rather than only inspecting the centre. Examine the edges for lifting and look for bubbles or uneven bonding. It is also useful to handle and bend the fused panel to understand whether the support remains suitable for the garment.
Document the sample details once it passes testing. Keeping a physical reference helps the factory compare future deliveries with the original approved quality. This creates a more controlled purchasing process and reduces the risk of unexpected variation entering production.
