Averted disaster struck in Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi district as vigilant loco pilots foiled attempts to derail two passenger trains, including the Rajdhani Express. Wooden blocks tied to the tracks with earthing wires were spotted by the Rajdhani Express pilot, who applied emergency brakes. A similar attempt targeting the Kathgodam Express was also thwarted.
